Years Eve! (Country Meadows Golf Course) - Happy
New Year 2002! Tyme
Machine performed
to a sell out crowd (over 300) at the Country Meadows Golf Course in
Richmond. It was a funtastic evening for all. What better way to
"ring in" the new year than rockin' to the classics as performed
by Tyme Machine. Amazing food and drink. As usual the dance floor was
packed all night. Tyme Machine would like to thank special guest Mark on saxophone
who did a great job. Lots of tuxedos in the audience. (and on stage)
Management has requested a return engagement in the near future. See ya
there!

23rd, VIP Birthday Party (Vancouver) - The Tyme Machine partied
on with a great crowd dressed up 50's style. The band played lots of
late 50's & early 60's music. (Including the song
"Donna" as a tribute to the birthday girl.) Happy Birthday
Donna!

Meadows Golf Course Halloween
Party Spooktacular! - Tyme Machine played at the Country Meadows Golf
Course in Richmond. The 1st song of the night, the dance floor was
packed. Lots of great costumes. Congratulations to the 4 prize winners!
The Tyme Machine bassist Count Dracula performed a haunting version of
the "Monster Mash". Our drummer, Bozo the clown got the crowd
howling along to "Werewolves of London". Billy Gibbons on lead
guitar looked & sounded like the real McCoy. Zorro was also on stage
but there was definitely no Zzz's from the audience. Everyone had a fun
tyme.

6th, Cruisers Diner " Classic Rock Revue ":
Tyme Machine played a Classic Rock Revue
taking the audience on a musical ride through tyme. Our first
set started in the early sixties, the 2nd set showcased the late sixties,
and in the last 2 sets we played hits from the seventies & eighties. This crowd knew how to have a good
tyme, the dance floor was
always packed. Congratulations to all the prize winners !
Prizes included T-shirts, free $10 gas coupons, free dinners, etc. Partial proceeds were gratefully accepted by The Canadian Cancer Society,
so thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting the
event. |

Highlights:
Wow,
summer flew by fast. Played a few pub dates & parties in
September. August was especially a busy month for
us. We did everything from pubs to a dancehall and even a wedding.
Here's a few
highlights... August 25th
(Sat.) - VIP Wedding
in Surrey (sorry, this event was invite only). One of the
guests was Canadian country music legend "Evan Kemp", who jammed
with the Tyme Machine on 3 songs. August 18th (Sat.) - A
warm night in Surrey at the Kennedy Hall. Tyme Machine performed
lots of requests. Loads of action on the dance floor that night. We all
had a great "Tyme". |

& 2nd, Kingswood Arms Neighbourhood Pub - We
hadn't played here since last year and it was fun to be back. Lots
of requests and crowd interaction. Saturday was an especially good
night. Plenty of " Tyme Machine" fans heard we were
playing there and made a special trip out to Kingswood just to see us
. Thanks everyone for your support. |
May
19th, Yarrow - The
" Tyme Machine " took everyone back to the 60's & 70's for a
special wedding celebration. Congratulations to Christine &
Roger. |
May 18th,
Marpole’s Pub ( Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel ) -
A good start to the May
long weekend. A warm night and even hotter on the dance floor.
Some fans from out of town attended. A very friendly crowd insisted
we play an encore. |
April 27th
& 28th, Riders Pub, Langley -
An appreciative group of rock
fans made these 2 nights at the Riders Pub a memorable one. Thanks
to the friendly staff and clientele for the compliments and support.
The band had a great time feeding off the dance floor energy. On
Saturday another lucky "Prize Draw" winner collected his movie
tickets & a CD. |
April 7th,
Teamsters Dance, Burnaby - The
band played lots of classic rock 'n roll for a crowd of about
150. Another fun dinner /dance event. |
April 6th,
(private party), Fort Langley Community Hall -
Another
fun party at one of our favourite venues. Lots of
requests & audience participation on stage. We always have
such a great tyme...HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE! |

Foggy Dews Pub, Coquitlam - Our 1st
time at the Foggy Dews. Pretty busy for a Thursday night. Lots of good
audience response. |

17th, PWP Dance, Coquitlam -
Happy
St. Patricks Day !
Our 1st time playing for PWP. Everyone had a good time dancing the
night away. The band did a version of the song "The
Unicorn." Lots o' Irish spirit all around.
Tyme Machine have been requested for a return engagement. |

10th, Cruiser's Pit Stop Diner, Langley - A
great venue for classic rock ‘n roll. Tyme Machine played
everything from Buddy Holly to ZZ Top. (and of course some "car"
tunes) Thanks to everyone for your support & enthusiasm. Special
thanks to Fraser & Angela. Overall a very successful night. |

23rd, Marpole’s Pub ( Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel ) - As
usual the band got on well with the locals, including a party of
Superstore employees. After the encore some fans wanted to know when
we'll be back...you read it here first...they'll be back at
Marpole's May 18th. See you guys then. |

17th, Heart To Heart Dance, Surrey - An
energetic (all ages) fun crowd (about 175) that packed the dance floor all
night. Thanks to all who attended. It was great to play for
such a responsive, supportive group of rock 'n roll fans. |

rockin’ good time at Marpoles Pub in Vancouver… Some lucky fans
received some 2 for 1 dinner passes…the band would like to thank
everyone for their support as well as the encore…they'll be back again next month. |

5th, 6th, 12th & 13th, Winners Sports Bar (Newlands Golf & Country Club)
- had a fun 2 weekends (4 nights!) at
the Winners Sports Bar . On Jan.6th two members from the
house band Junction came up & jammed on 3 songs…(Sax
& backup vocals) Other special guests stopped by on other nights
for a few jams. Management was pleased and wants to have Tyme
Machine back when an opening comes up. The band would
like to thank all the staff and clientele at Winners. We all had a
good time - a great way to start off the 1st 2 weeks of 2001! |
