MORE 2000 NEWS HIGHLIGHTS |
JUNE
10th
- 1st
outdoor event of 2000 – a benefit for the SPCA…a few dogs were
running loose so the band played...you guessed it... "Hound Dog". Cooler
earlier in the day, but by late afternoon the sun heated up as did the
Earwigs (now known as Tyme Machine). Our friend Don filled in on lead guitar.

MAY
20th - The
Spring Boogie @ Kamp Alexandra was also a blast. Cool
decorations, good food & drink, and another enthusiastic crowd. The
band did a great job and received lots of compliments. Familiar
friend of the band (now known as Tyme Machine) Randy
came up & sang along on "Mony Mony". Everyone had a
rock’in good time.

MAY
13th,
Clova Dance Club
- The
Clova Dance at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. Our 1st time
performing for the Clova Dance Club, but not the last. Terry &
the Earwigs (now known as Tyme Machine) were re-booked (for next Nov) before the night was
over. Special guest Rich
(on lead guitar) helped to make this event a success. Thanks to Brenda,
Heather, Dee, Phil & all at the Clova Dance Club for a
fun evening.

APRIL
21st & 22nd,
Rose & Crown Pub - 2
nights in Tsawassen (Easter weekend) at the Rose & Crown Pub…Pete ( drummer for "Shark
Bites") was once again an honorary "Earwig" as was
our friend on lead guitar Steve. Also thanks to
long time bass player Rob for producing the sound &
lights as usual…

APRIL
7th & 8th, Fort Pub - 2 nights at the Fort Pub…
Management was happy and has placed The Earwigs (now known
as Tyme Machine) on their
"callback list". Also the band would like to thank
well known Vancouver performing artist Lisa L. ( from the bands The
Diggers & Rumour Has It, etc. ) for guest starring on drums
& backup vocals.

MARCH
24th & 25th, Barkey's Pub -
2 nights at Barkey’s Pub…we had 3
special guests on stage – Weave (from the band "Durango’s
Daughter") on lead guitar (Friday), Steve on lead guitar
(Saturday.), and thanks to Pete ( drummer for "Shark Bites").
Also thanks to Jeff & staff for doing a great job at the bar.

12th - Another Valentines Dance at
the Fort Langley Community Hall. SOLD OUT 2 weeks in advance.
(almost 200 tickets) Sorry to all those unable to get
tickets. The band especially appreciated such a warm
reception in their hometurf. Thanks once again to all our friends
in beautiful Fort Langley.

4th - An all ages Valentines Dance
in Surrey…the Earwigs (now known as Tyme Machine). they
played for young & old alike…A large crowd
with parents & kids dancing to everything
from Stones, Beatles & Tom Petty to Tubthumper,
etc.

JANUARY
27, 28, 29th,
Shooters Cabaret -
3 rockin’ nights at Shooters Cabaret. Our first time
performing in Maple Ridge. A friendly cozy bar with clientele who
like to party. Thanks to Dawn & staff for having us.
